At Right Start Preschool, children are treated with respect. We believe in the “whole child” approach in education. Here, children are given the opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and intellectually. They are exposed to a variety of experiences which helps them excel and reach their full potential. Activities such as music, art, language, cooking, gardening, science, math, and gross/fine motor skills provide opportunities for children to grow as well-rounded people. Social-emotional development is at the core of our program. Children learn how to relate and communicate with each other, be assertive, be good problem solvers, and to respect others’ feelings, bodies, and belongings. Social-emotional skills are an important part in children’s positive self-image and future success. At Right Start Preschool, children are taught and encouraged to be kind and fair to others and to stand up for themselves. Many of our children and families at Right Start have made long-term relationships which extend beyond school and continue after graduating.
